I'm pleased to announce that BWP is searching for new writers! The site has now been open for a month, and despite what should be a slower time during the holidays, we've grown a good bit in the first month. There are big things coming to the site in the next few months, and we'd like you to be a part of our team! Please e-mail me at prax@thecheckingline.com if you are interested.

We are currently taking writers in all spots, from gaming, to movies, to music and of course television. Here's a brief description of what we'd be looking for in each spot:

Movies: While we have a good amount of reviewers, we are looking for people to cover the daily grind of news to come out of the movie industry, from casting to new project to rumors and box office numbers and new releases. We won't say no if you want to review a movie that hasn't been covered, but we definitely need people interested in posting news, and posting it often.

Gaming: Again, we are looking for people to cover daily news in the video game industry, from developments on upcoming games, to news on sales and any sort of industry news. Moreover, if you would like to review games, there are definitely positions open for reviewers as well.

Television: There are plenty of shows on TV, and plenty of people who watch them or would like to read about them before they watch them, but not enough people recapping. If you'd like to review specific TV shows, please contact us! Again, we are looking for people to cover TV news as well.

Music: Tastes in music vary from person to person, but we have no biases here on BWP. If you'd like to review albums from your favorite bands, cover news and happenings about any sort of music, let us know!

We're very much open to ideas for any kind of content, so please let me know if you would like to write about any the abovementioned topic types, or anything else!
