Things Get Dire In The Second Trailer For 'The Avengers: Age Of Ultron'

If you're one of only a few people left on the planet who isn't yet excited for The Avengers: Age Of Ultron, Marvel has done the best they could, especially now, with the studio releasing the second trailer for the film on Monday night.

The new 90-second teaser obviously doesn't reveal anything we don't already know about the film. In fact, it's fairly impressive that they managed to make one that somehow reveals even less than the first trailer from a couple of months ago.

Although there's less of him than in the first one, James Spader's titular Ultron is still terrorizing The Avengers (although there have more elaborate rumors as to what his origin may be), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr) is still inexplicably fighting the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) in his Hulkbuster armor, and things look fairly dire for Earth's last line of defense, and they apparently look to something otherworldly to protect it.

Could they be referring to Ultron himself? Something else? What does Joss Whedon really have up his sleeve for the follow-up to the second biggest movie of all time? Logic would dictate at least something equally as big.

Check out the trailer below, but otherwise, you'll have to wait until May 1st, 2015, like the rest of us, to find out what's going on. The Avengers: Age Of Ultron also stars Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olson (among others).
