Hitman: Absolution E3 Demo Video Hits The Internet

Some of the very first "assassin" gameplay from Hitman: Absolution has hit the net, and includes the mission that will most likely be playable at E3 this year.

The mission is called "The King Of Chinatown", in which you accept a hit in exchange for information on the agency. Your objective is to take out the "King" of, you guessed it, Chinatown. This being a hitman game, you can pretty much execute your target in any way you see fit, including making it look like an accident.

The first thing that jumps at you is the new crowd tech, which quite frankly looks incredible. The mardi-gras level from Hitman: Blood Money was the first level to really hint at the use of a crowd, but this takes it to the next level. According to the producer, your character can use the crowd to blend in when hunted by the police, but also listen to conversations in order to gain knowledge on your target and surroundings. The graphics in general look very impressive.

If we had to pick a flaw in the game so far, it would be that the AI still seems pretty dumb at times. This could be attributed to the lower difficulty level or simply because it hasn't been tweaked yet, as the game is still a long way from being released. It's a minor detail and wouldn't spoil the fun, but it would be nice to have a more advanced AI this time around.

Looks great. If *I* had to pick a flaw, it's the developer's double gap tooth. WTF is up with that? Also, I saw gameplay for this months ago at PAX /hipster'd.

Really though looks like a lot of fun. Crowd tech is great, maybe not as good as Assassin's Creed or something but it should add a good element to the game.
